About Rar Extractor
Updated · Sanii Verma
Rar Extractor is a Mac app that opens RAR archives — including RAR5, password-protected and split archives — as well as ZIP, 7z and TAR, and extracts them into a folder next to the archive. It is built and sold by Sanii Verma, an independent developer in India.
Who publishes it
The seller is Sanii Verma, in India, and the policies on this site are governed by the law of India. Dodo Payments processes payments as the merchant of record: they charge the card, handle sales tax, and are the name on your statement.
Support
Email hello@macrarextractor.com. The person who builds the app reads it and replies within three business days. If you lost your license key, the recovery page emails every key bought with your address.
The license
- A one-time purchase, not a subscription.
- One license activates on up to 3 Macs. Deactivate a Mac in Settings, then License, to move it to another.
- Lifetime updates are included, included, for as long as the app is maintained.
- There is no trial: the app opens on its activation screen until it has a key.
- Requires macOS 14 Sonoma or later, Apple silicon or Intel. Not sold on the Mac App Store.
Refunds
14 days from the day you buy, for any reason. Email support and the refund is issued through Dodo Payments. The refund policy has the details.
Updates
Updates arrive inside the app. In Settings you can choose whether it checks for them automatically, or check by hand. Each release is listed on the changelog.
What the app sends
Archives are opened and extracted on your Mac and never uploaded. The app connects only for its license check (your key and your Mac’s name), the current price, and update checks. There are no analytics in the app. The privacy policy covers the app and this website.
